We are pleased to announce that following a rigorous procurement exercise, Tascomi has been awarded the contract to support Hertfordshire Building Control Project, the Building Control operation which operates in seven districts across Hertfordshire:

  • Broxbourne
  • East Hertfordshire
  • Hertsmere
  • North Hertfordshire
  • Stevenage
  • Three Rivers
  • Welfyn & Hatfield

Tascomi Building Control is a fully hosted, cloud based solution, build entirely using open source technology. Being natively web based, it will run on any device with a modern browser. In addition to the richness or it’s functionality, Tascomi Building Control was selected because of it’s unique ability to maintain the integrity of multiple authorities’ data in a single instance of the system. Authorities can therefore be easily added to, or separated out from, a shared service at any time.

Steven Halls, Chairman of Hertfordshire Building Control Project commented, Combining the skills and experience of the majority of building control groups across Hertfordshire into a single, forward looking organisation, will give our customers the greater options and flexibility we know they want. Working with Tascomi enables us to offer a comprehensive service with a ‘local’ flavour, across the whole county. Being mobile by default, Tascomi will give us the agility we need and the customer facing portals will enable us to digitally transform the new organisation.”

Dr Richard Martin, Managing Director of Tascomi said, “We are delighted to be partnering with Hertfordshire Building Control Partnership. They are a very progressive, professional organisation who understand the significant business benefits of adopting modern cloud based technology and will be an exemplar for others to follow.”
