Limavady Borough Council was a local council in Northern Ireland. It merged with Coleraine Borough Council, Ballymoney Borough Council and Moyle District Council in April 2015 under local government reorganisation in Northern Ireland to become Causeway Coast and Glens Borough Council.

Limavady Borough Council sought to implement an innovative system that would enable them to utilise their available resources to the upmost capacity, to ensure delivery of quality services that best meet the needs of their constituents. Additionally, they wanted to manage the transition into the new merged Council structure in a way that best promoted the interests of the area, underpinned by a unified civic leadership.

In order to fulfill the Council mission in terms of the resolution and processing of issues and requests from customers, Limavady were keen to implement a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system to manage these, both internally within the Council departments and externally with their customers.

Technical Services has used the Te-Care system for four months now and have found it to be very user friendly. This makes the day to day planning of workloads more efficient and simply tracked. The system has helped the department to improve service delivery and increase response times. The entire department has been impressed by the customer service provided by Tascomi staff and the ease with they can be contacted.

As a Web-Based System, offered under a corporate usage licence – Customer Care has the capability to be utilised across Multiple Sites operated by Limavady Borough Council. In addition to multi-site access, Customer Care can also be accessed on Multiple Platforms, including Mobile Devices, providing officers with remote access to manage their workload while in the field.

Staff within Limavady have been impressed with the significantly noticeable difference the deployment of Customer Care has brought to the administration of their Technical department. In particular, the Time Saved compiling reports, responding to Customer queries, and managing the administration of requests.

Customer queries can be answered quickly and a status update is available for other staff members and managers as required. This improves Customer Satisfaction levels and means that staff leave doesn’t prevent customers from receiving updates on their queries, as the system web-based tracking gives a Real-Time Overview.
