Tascomi is delighted to be the Platinum Sponsor of The CIEH Public Health Conference on 25th and 26th April at the Hilton Cardiff.
CIEH Public Health Conference: Winds of Change will be a topical two-day conference, covering a range of areas of interest to those working in public and environmental health. It will explore new approaches to tackling important public health issues and challenge us to consider how we can best effect change.
With recent events in the High Court highlighting illegal air pollution in England and Wales, the Welsh government will be setting out its plans for delivering clean air. FSA will be outlining the work it is doing to ensure that food standards, public health and business interests are protected once we leave the EU. There will be discussions around the challenges of open policy making relating to the FSA’s Regulating Our Future Programme.
The conference will also discuss new technology for food safety in the food industry, and what’s next in tobacco control is the question that will be put to the Chief Executive of ASH. To round off the conference you will hear about a significant outbreak of legionnaires disease in Serene City and lessons learnt.
Tascomi will be demonstrating the cloud-based Tascomi Public Protection solution, designed in conjunction with Local Authorities to meet the changing needs of Environmental Health, Licensing, Private Sector Housing, Trading Standards and Housing Grants departments. The solution also includes an integrated Online Services Portal for simple online transactions.
Bryan Snowden, Senior Consultant at Tascomi who will be in attendance at the event commented, “Tascomi is very pleased to support the excellent, professional work done by CIEH by attending the 2018 Annual Conference in Cardiff as the Platinum Sponsor.”
