Our team will be attending this year’s Irish CFOA Annual Conference in Naas, Co.Kildare on the 7th and 8th May. With the conference theme ‘Leading the Fire Service of the future’ we look forward to demonstrating to delegates how the introduction of new regulations and a new set of interactions, can bring an opportunity for an improved level of service and facilitate greater efficiency.

In managing the changing business environment in Co Tipperary, both North Tipperary and South Tipperary undertook a detailed assessment of existing resources with a view to addressing the recent March 2014 regulation changes, the changes to business processes and the need to facilitate the pending merger of both councils at the same time.  They have now implemented a new web-based solution, addressing the critical business needs which arose out of the new regulations.

Like most public sector organisations, Local Authorities aim to deliver a high quality of service to the public with greater levels of regulation, while at the same time resources and budgets are reducing.  The new regulations adopted in March 2014 bring additional challenges that include a significant level of interaction between all of the participants in building control and fire certification functions.

As a provider of innovative, mobile ready, cloud based solutions to Local Authorities and Health Service providers, we have designed solutions which deliver flexibility and support consistent, effective and streamlined business processes. We provide solutions to 25 Local Authorities across Northern Ireland and have recently implemented a nationwide Environmental Health Information System for mobile inspection and governance with the HSE.
