Tell us a little about yourself …

Hi, my name is Vicki. I live in Hillsborough with my husband Dave and our two dogs; Pixie and Chomper. My favourite subject at school was Art and Design and from there I went on to graduate with a BSc Hons in Fashion Management.

What is your role at Tascomi?

My role is Graduate Project Manager, which entails managing a portfolio of projects, developing and maintaining relationships with customers, liasing with the Development team and ensuring projects are completed within time and budget.

What 3 words would you use to describe Tascomi?

Focused, Supportive and Innovative.

What do like/enjoy most about your job?

The thing I enjoy most about my job is dealing directly with Tascomi customers – hearing their thoughts and gaining feedback on how to improve the system they use, in order to to make it, and their daily tasks, more efficient.

What do like most about Tascomi?

I love the supportive and friendly work environment. Everyone is approachable and encouraging. Each day in Tascomi brings new challenges, which is great! No two days are ever the same.

What have you gained from working at Tascomi?

In a few short weeks at Tascomi, I have already learnt a great deal regarding Project Management tools and techniques, including the importance of effective organisation and prioritisation. I have also been trained up in Agile PM with a practitioner qualification!

What advice would you give to a new Tascomi employee?

Always ask if you are unsure of something, everyone is eager to help you learn and develop. Also, the kitchen is always full of sugary treats to keep you fuelled throughout the day!

What career lessons you’ve learnt this far?

  • Don’t underestimate your potential.
  • Always be willing to adapt and learn new skills.

Favourite country visited..

Favourite Country would have to be America, but favourite City would be a toss up between New York and Barcelona.

If you were stuck on an island, what three things would you bring?

Crisps, wine and my DSLR camera.

People would be surprised if they knew…

What books are at your bedside?

‘Little Women’ by Louisa May Alcott, ‘The Life-Changing Magic of Tidying’ by Marie Kondo and ‘The Boy in the Striped Pyjamas’ by John Boyne.

What did you want to be when growing up?

An Equestrian Instructor or a Fashion Designer.

What do you like to do in your spare time?

I write a personal lifestyle blog, I like to bake, watch movies, upcycle furniture and do generally crafty things.

What is an ability you wish you had?


What is the first thing you would buy if you won the lottery?

A holiday for all my family and friends to Las Vegas, then I would take a road trip down the West Coast of America.

What is your favourite sport?

Horse Riding.

New Zealand.

What is your favourite movie/book?

Book – The Secret Life of Bees by Sue Monk Kidd.

Film – Erin Brockovich or Unbreakable.
