On 24 March, Chambré Public Affairs – in association with the Construction Employers Federation and Turley – will hold a landmark conference on the new Northern Ireland Planning System. Chaired by BBC Radio Ulster’s Seamus McKee, the event promises a constructive discussion, within the impressive surroundings of QUB’s Riddel Hall. The influential speaker line-up includes senior Council and Departmental officials, as well as sector leaders.

The half-day event will address significant questions still to be answered regarding the Northern Ireland Planning System – How, for instance, is the new Councillor Code of Conduct working in practice? How can Councils ensure that their Communities’ views are reflected in policy? And will the new system be streamlined and efficient enough to avoid delays, and encourage investment?

Building on the success of our existing Building Control software solution, which is currently used by 9 of the 11 Local Authorities in Northern Ireland, Tascomi are working in close collaboration with key Planning and Building Control stakeholders to design and develop a new and modern web-based Planning solution.

Roisin Murray, Tascomi Programme Director and Rod McBride, Tascomi Delivery Manager, will be exhibiting at the half-day event to discuss the exciting functionality proposed for Tascomi Planning.
