Last week Team Tascomi hopped on a plane and headed to Birmingham to host our 2019 Customer Conference. The event, held in Hilton Birmingham Metropole on Thursday 20thJune, welcomed attendees from across our growing customer portfolio in England and Wales for a day of updates, collaboration and feedback.
The busy agenda kicked off with a welcome from Managing Director, Richard Martin. Talking us through the progress Tascomi has made, Richard went on to give details of strategic direction for the year ahead and echo the importance of working collaboratively with our customers.
Next up, our keynote speaker, John Barnes, provided an interesting insight into “The Current & Future Regulatory Environment”. As Strategic Advisor to Shield Safety Group and former Head of Local Delivery at the Food Standards Agency, John supplied attendees with expertise and thought-provoking concepts on the importance of data, collaboration and transparency.
To wrap up the presentation element of the day, Andrew Rowan, Customer Experience Lead at Tascomi provided the conference with an update as well as information on some exciting new elements we’re introducing to improve our customers experience.
The second half of the day encouraged attendees to get involved with four workshops focusing on our Public Protection, Licensing, Planning and Building Control solutions. Tascomi staff worked with our customers in each of these settings, to reveal upcoming new features and develop product knowledge, whilst allowing users to share experiences and best practices.
These events have become an important part of our annual calendar, allowing us to gain essential feedback from customers to improve our systems. We were overwhelmed with the positivity of the day and the engagement we received from our customers. Thank you to all those who participated, you are essential to our development and growth.
